I love spinning with a support spindle.
However, I also love being able to store my spun fibre on a Turkish spindle. So I decided to combine the best of both worlds and develop a spindle that can be used as a support spindle and a Turkish spindle. This spindle has a point at the bottom of the shaft and spins beautifully. The thin tip of the shaft makes the spinning effortlessly easily.

Each spindle weighs 24g (15g for arms and 9g for shaft). The arms measure 4” long x 7/8” wide. The shaft measures 7.75” long. The spindle in the picture above is made from 3D-printed PLA. This shaft is brown and arms are pumpkin orange.
